We are building open research, AI-safety and agentic-system prototypes under severe hardware constraints. We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for enough working memory and equipment to keep producing responsibly.

CURRENT REALITY Dual-core computer 4 GB RAM No dedicated GPU

Much of the current work is being developed on my partner's modest computer. The constraint is real; so is the work.

Why we are asking

Resourceful does not mean unlimited.

Modern cloud tools and AI agents allow serious work to begin on weak hardware, but local testing, multiple runtimes, browsers, databases and verification workflows quickly exceed 4 GB RAM.

What already exists

Code, records, demos and a public trail.

Open repositories and versioned research records.
AI-safety and epistemic-control prototypes.
Hackathon work, public demos and ongoing multi-agent architecture.

What is missing

Enough memory and machines to run the work properly.

More RAM for parallel tools and local databases.
Additional computers or mini PCs for agent roles.
Storage, networking, GPU access, API or cloud credits.

What would help most

Practical support.

Used equipment is welcome. A machine does not have to be new to become useful inside a distributed agent-assisted workspace.

Used computers

Laptops, desktops, workstations or mini PCs that can still run Linux and join a local network.

RAM and storage

Compatible RAM modules, SSDs and external storage are immediate, high-impact upgrades.

GPU access

A used GPU, remote GPU time or credits for inference and experimentation.

Cloud and API credits

Credits that allow controlled testing, telemetry collection and provider comparison.

Small sponsorship

A modest grant can fund memory, SSDs, network equipment and reliable development time.

Practical collaboration

Engineering advice, hardware reuse, testing, review or an introduction to the right program.

The garage-lab vision

A few machines. One room. Many specialized agents.

The goal is not a polished corporate office. The first useful step is a small kitchen, garage or home workspace where separate machines can handle research, memory, code, review, telemetry and demonstrations.

Reuse first: older hardware can still run focused services and agent roles.
Local control: sensitive logs and approval boundaries remain under human authority.
Grow carefully: support is converted into measurable capacity, not visual excess.
